America today is free because everyone in our country has the same rights. We all can vote. No one is “owned” by another person. Also, we have a right to our own beliefs.
We can practice our beliefs as we please. We have the freedom to speak our minds and we have the right to feel and be safe, because of the brave.
Who has helped make America free? Try 42 Presidents, inclusive of our present President have helped keep America free.
To me, freedom is important because without it, some would have rights that others wouldn’t. All people are equal and deserve the same rights. No one person should have the right to dictate the rights of another person.
Our soldiers and veterans have helped make America free because they have fought for our freedom.
